Task 4: Brand Guideline 



For this task for our final module, we are to make a brand guideline based on our beginning module where we chose to create a brand and choosing a name.

The above photo is my first example for how i want my layout to be and just a rough idea for me to start we, but the first idea is just a simple 3 column, and the 2 one is a four column which is there more space and more balance between all the rest of the alignment.



 These are my illustration idea before me putting everything in the InDesign and align all that is needed to be align and well balanced.

For my image i didn't have my own so i took some photos on Pinterest to help with my layout of my book, the photos did help with lifting up a bit of the pages in InDesign that for me i was satisfied with the design and layout i didn't want many things in the book so i kept it simple as i can,

 
Brand Guideline Progression:

As Ms. Lilian, was giving us every week feedback about our progress and what is needed to be fixed and rearranged. and also helped us and showing us how to create a button for the guideline like a shortcut to press the button and to automatically jump on the page that we want.

As for my buttons i place them at the button of the to make it more aligned with the rest my pages and to blend with the colors.

As in the above photo i have finished make one of my buttons and it was not hard as i had a video guiding me on how to create the buttons simple and also to create specifics button to jump on quickly.

  • Make sure the layout is not too busy of complicated
  • if you're going to make the alignment left and right with text and photos, make sure they balance well

Reflection

Experience:

Creating the brand guideline for SIP SMILE was an experience for me that emphasized the importance of consistency and cohesiveness in brand identity, creating an interactive style book is something new to me that i have never done before bringing a personality in life in dynamic ways. Throughout this process we aim to develop our talents to create something memorable to us.

Observations:

Throughout this task and module overall there is some observations i have made, it is begging with is by i see my skills in understanding the balance of color and fonts together cannot be overstated. For some of the elements and visuals of foundation of the brand, ensuring that all communications are instantly recognized.   

Findings:

For the findings in some critical aspect for successful implementation of the brand. It should reflect more about the brand allowing creativity to demon straight how the brand has been formed and create from scratch to become a brand.
