PROJECT 2A
Exercise 1: Production Shoot Video

WEEK 5- PRE-PRODUCTION
On this week, we were divided into 3 group that consist of 10-12 people to do a simulation working as a production crew. We were given a 7 video google file to follow and also the videos that was provided to us to get the same sequence that demonstrated the movie Everything Everywhere.

We started the recording earlier along with the second group that was still here, we finished earlier than expected within 15-20 minutes and continue it with the final pieces that was needed to add.


WEEK 6- PRODUCTION
Also, for the production day part of which at first, we were have difficulty with the first part that took the most time but then when getting the right angel and focus it satisfied.

In this week, we had our normal class same time, but we went to the photography studio, where Mr. Martin showed the different equipment for filming to prepare us for the actual production shoot and to understand the function of the camera also how to position it well to get a good shoot.

Before the class end, we were instructed to go separate group to choose our roles for the production shoot, and i ended up getting the art director which was fun to dress the acters and make up them for the shoot and also saying cut and action before filming the shoots.

On the same we were given a checklist outlining everyone's roles and expectations. It as we were choosing and deciding who will take what our director asked each one of us that we will like we do, and all have already chosen and finally agreed.

Before start to shoot the actors were given some moment to pass through their lines and dress up to begin the shooting by putting the costumes for their respective roles: Noelle, Joey and Iam were the acting for Waymond, Evelyn and the security guard.

The filming took the whole class hour we finished at almost 6pm but mostly the placement of the equipment's and the redo of the roles.


WEEK 7- COLOR CORRECTION & GRADING EDITING
In class, Mr. Martin gives us a straight brief on how to change the color of the video to be better/ contrast. 

There was some color combination we need to apply in on our video:
Orange
Brownish
Greenish
Bluish

Have started by putting all the 7 scenes together to get the whole movie adjusting some of the cuts if needs to be done or arrange.

After the arrangements of the videos took me some time but I finally got it done was a bit confusing of which video will come first and middle along with the end but got that done and fix finally came start editing.

Applying some changes in the videos by putting contrast by making look better and stand out the colors that looks good for like the above screenshot the first scene I was satisfied with the way it was looking and standing out also makes it better.

As for the part of adding the effects that was finding the right effect to go well will the whole video also cut some parts and add the other part to make it look like a sequence that looks better and good.

 Shoot Week 7 09/06/2024
PROJECT 2B
Shooting Practice & Editing (Insta/TikTok)
On this project, we work on individual to create a 60 second TikTok video editing. There is no theme for the video. The key is the video should relate to ourselves and expressing our interest. We began these projects by fill out the proposal slide given by Mr. Martin to show our idea of what video we will create.

On week 8, Mr. Martin suggested us that we had to started to create just one clip as our preview for the video. I choose to create the 1st clip for this week.

By Using Capcut, I adjust the saturation temperature, shadows, ect to make the color looks better. Since the color correction and adding the effects that create my video that give a little touch.
